Llanrwst went into their final game of the season knowing that victory would lift them from 10th position to 7th in the league.
It was Llanrwst that made the running early on and should have taken the lead when Rhys Davies flashed the ball across the area, but none of the Llanrwst players could get a touch on it.
Despite numerous other chances the game remained at 0-0 at half time.

Llanrwst took the lead in the 46th minute when Lee Allen chased a short backpass only to be beaten to it by Dwayne Jones in the Glan Conwy goal, Jones- clearance fell to Leighton Griffiths just inside the Glan Conwy half and Griffiths calmly knocked the ball into an open goal from inside the centre circle. 1-0
Llanrwst stretched their lead on 61minutes when Griffiths- through ball found Luke Roberts who beat his man and fired home into the Glan Conwy net 2-0
Glan Conwy then piled on the pressure but were unable to find a way past a resolute defence marshalled superbly by Man of the Match Bryn Griffiths and keeper Paul Roberts who was at his best to pull off a couple of late saves
