Llanrwst travelled the short distance to Llandudno Junction looking to complete the double over their local rivals following the 1-0 victory the two weeks previous. Following the late withdrawal of Rhys Griffiths Llanrwst went into this game missing two centre halfs with Hywel Roberts still suspended following his sending off in the previous game against Llandudno Junction.
The first half of the game was well marshalled by both defences with Liam Ewing in the Llandudno Junction goal commanding in his area and claiming all set pieces and crosses that came his way.
H/T 0-0
Llandudno Junction took the lead when despite none of the junction players apealing the referee spotted a handball in the area by Gavin Jones and gave a penalty which Aron Spencer duly converted 1-0
It wasn't long before Llanrwst were back on level terms when Jamie Turner blocked and attempted clearance and the ball fell for Luke Roberts who calmly slotted past the keeper. 1-1
Llanrwst were unlucky not to take the lead when Lee Allen hit the crossbar following a Gwyn Jones corner.
Junction then took the lead following a cross from their right the ball ricoched in the area before deflecting of Rhys Davies and into the back of the net 2-1
Despite Llanrwst's best endevours they were unable to break down the Junction defence again and the game finished 2-1
