Llanrwst travelled to Rhydymwyn for the first game of the season missing a number of first team players which meant that a number of players found themselves playing out of position.
The first half was a tight affair with few chances falling to either side, both sides forced a couple of corners apiece

Within a few minutes of the re-start Llanrwst were forced into a change with Rhys Davies suffering an injury and being forced to come of, Jason Pierce came on as his replacement.
Llanrwst had a couple of chances with both Aron Jones and Gwion Schiavone causing Rhydymwyn problems with their pace.
Lee Allen hit the crossbar following good work by Aron Jones and when Bryn Jenkins' through ball found Gwion Schiavone his pull back was put just wide by Lee Allen. Rhydymwyn also hit the post with a good effort during the second half.
